Long Horse is a benevolent entity created by artist Trevor Henderson in 2018. It appears as a horse skull lacking a lower jaw, attached to an infinitely long neck of exposed vertebrae that bends around corners, through hallways, and into spaces where it should not logically fit.
Unlike other creatures from the Henderson universe, Long Horse is a protector. When it appears, it is warning you. Something catastrophic is about to happen nearby. If you hear the sound of cracking bones, or see that impossibly long neck stretching through the darkness, you need to move.
Ancient cave paintings depict Long Horse surrounding three humans. It has existed since before recorded history, traversing dimensions to warn humanity of impending disasters. Its body is so massive it spans across multiple realities simultaneously. A few strands of black hair cling to its endless neck. It smells like cinnamon.
This mod brings that terror into Minecraft. Long Horse will stalk you silently, materializing from thin air during the night, floating above the ground, or rising behind you without a sound. When it appears, something will happen soon.
